Any scene with her dad makes me so emotional cuz its so much how me and my dad were like before he excepted me. The part where Gwen hugs him, that’s 100% what it was like when he finally, fully, and unconditionally excepted who I am. He’s always loved me unconditionally, but it took him awhile to recognize that who I am isn’t a naive young phase. It’s who I am.
