Why is everyone calling it slow? It’s literally taking off. No plane is doing Mach 2 a few hundred feet above the runway. The Concorde climbs first, then accelerates over the ocean because going supersonic over land creates a sonic boom

the people saying the concord is slow have no idea what an operational height is or the place where engines work best same reason rockets look slow and cargo ships its perspective 😭

I used to work at the Heathrow building when concorde use to take off .everyone used to run to top to see it take off .the noise was deafening but it was amazing to watch.
