For all of you in the comments curious. In Lehman’s terms, minoxidil works by promoting blood flow, a key factor to healthy hair growth. Minoxidil DOES NOT block dht, dht is a by-product of testosterone which is directly associated with male pattern baldness. Finasteride is the dht blocker, when used it stops hair falling out (it blocks around 70% of dht). They work hand in hand. If you’re not experiencing major hair loss (maturing hairline, traction alopecia) minoxidil alone will work. If you are having signs of clear male pattern baldness minoxidil WILL NOT work alone and must be used with a dht blocker such as finasteride or dutasteride. Hope this helps anyone curious and yes these transformations you see online are real.
