@randomvideos.365: This fascinating underwater footage captures a group of curious crabs gathering around a diver's gloved hand on the sandy seabed. Instead of scurrying away, the small crustaceans slowly advance as a group, using their long legs and slender claws to inspect the unfamiliar visitor. The video features a dramatic close-up of one particular crab that walks directly up to the lens, offering a remarkably clear view of its prominent black eyes and delicate facial structures. The clear, green-tinted water highlights the synchronized movements of the entire group as they interact peacefully with the diver. These types of benthic crustaceans are known to scavenge the seafloor and often investigate new objects in their territory out of pure curiosity. This close encounter provides a rare, detailed look at marine invertebrate behavior in their natural environment. #crabs #crustaceans #ocean #marinebiology #seafloor

Humans and crustaceans shared a common ancestor 600 million years ago. While it’s very hard to imagine, they’re actually our distant family. Pretty cool 👍
