I have a flexible leash with a wrist strap instead of the hard hand that I use for my old man BC (13) and I LOVE it. He's losing his vision and is in the beginning stages of dementia but thankfully he can still hear me. It's so nice to have for him on the days when he's not all there. He gets some freedom and I don't have to worry. I NEVER thought I'd have a flexi but here I am.

What medication do you have them on? My mom's dog is 12 and needs medication for dementia but the vet says every time he tries to order it, it's out of stock. I'm wondering if there is a different kind

Another recommendation, you could use a carabiner to just attach both flexi’s to a belt. Then they’ll have complete free range without pulling on one another with a couple, and you can be hands free!

Get a double line flexi leash. One with two separate lines Works better for sniff walks as they can go in separate directions. I don’t use it on my runs or long walks as I like them next to me and hands free but for sniff walks they work great with proper use.

Check hunting dog sites for couplers! Not sure how long you’d want one, ours are pretty short to keep dogs close together
