Most of the time it's not bad luck, it's one of these fixable errors. Here are 5 propagation mistakes killing your cuttings 👇 ✨ Use the Plant Flow app to keep your cuttings alive until they root. 1️⃣ Cutting at the wrong spot Snip too far from a node and your cutting has nowhere to grow roots from. Always cut just below a leaf node. 2️⃣ Leaving too many leaves on Extra leaves pull energy away from root development and speed up water loss. Trim it down to 2-3 leaves max. 3️⃣ Changing the water too rarely Stagnant water breeds bacteria that rot the stem before roots ever form. Refresh it every 2-3 days. 4️⃣ Too much direct sun, too soon Cuttings have no roots to support intense light yet. Bright, indirect light is all they need at this stage. 5️⃣ Moving it to soil too early Rushing the transfer before roots are established shocks the cutting and stalls growth.
