@sneakysweeno: Abandoned WWII air defence sites that defended Glasgow and the River Clyde. 🪖💣 These concrete structures formed a network of heavy anti-aircraft batteries built to protect our shipyards from intense air raids. Unfortunately, Drumchapel Ack-Ack at Buchanan's farm, now Jedworth Ave. had used all their artillery during live fire practicing into the the Kilpatrick Hills that they were unable to participate trying to protect Clydebank during the Blitz
