One thing I am grateful about Christianity is that it pushed me to persue and seek. Until I yielded in to my inner intuition , voice and God in me. I wouldn’t say that the Bible is a book of lies, but it’s how it has been used and manipulated. It does have a role in society and one’s spirituality as long as one is an independent thinker and don’t follow the nonsense that it was written by God. God did not write a book but humans did.

Let's be entirely clear: the colonizer’s version of the Bible and Christianity was never meant for our liberation—it was handed down as a tool of mental abuse, fear, control, and psychological torture. For over 400 years, our ancestors endured brutal physical chains, and that exact same system was weaponized to keep our minds in a mental jail. And let's not ignore the reality that this mental and systemic torture is still happening to us right now, both here in America and across the globe. They are not going to change, so we have to change by knowing who we are collectively. Furthermore, it is past time to cut out the internal division. Africans coming to America and denouncing the historic fight and resilience of Black Americans need to wake up. We are in the exact same fight across the entire global diaspora—from 400-plus years ago to this very day. No matter where we reside or where we were born, we are all Black, and our liberation is bound together. Stop the back-and-forth and let's stand united! ✊🏾✨
