I feel like people praise Nordic countries for their child before marriage culture but I think it’s extremely harmful for women because what do you mean you’re not getting into a legal contract with someone before having a kid. I require a legal contract when I rent a bedroom, let alone BIRTHING AN ENTIRE HUMAN BEING.

I’m in Austria, where the men want to go 50/50 on everything because they are playacting equality but then you get serious and they unveil they are “traditional” so still expect you to do all the cooking and cleaning. I got an Eastern European instead. 🤣 I admittedly do most of the cooking but that’s because I like it, and he does the dishes. If I don’t feel like it he takes me out and pays for us both.
