I really struggled with double consonants when I started learning Finnish as it wasn’t a natural way of speaking for me. I came up with this clapping method to help me hear the difference between single and double consonants and to learn to stretch out the sounds😅. In this video, the double letter sounds are a bit longer than how they would actually be spoken. I was just trying to clearly show the difference, hope this helps!
