Shepherd knew he was fucked. Farah knew Price wasn’t as good of a person as he used to be. Laswell knew how bad Price’s psyche ran deep. If you genuinely pay attention to Price’s dialogue and his choices? A lot of people would realize Price is such a morally grey/morally dark individual. It’s insane and I absolutely love the psychology/sociology behind him as a character.

You can tell throughout all MW’s that price is very “grey”. MW2 I think, he launched a ICBM and took out a lot of stuff, practically almost destroyed DC, in MW2019 he used an innocent family to get information from the Butcher, and told Gaz (I think) that they gave to get their hands dirty to clean the world.

Sorry for my Russian, but: Честно скажу, только после новости того, что Прайс будет главной персоной следующей части «Колды», и пересмотрев все части до 4-ой, начинаешь понимать, насколько же чёрствые, циничные и жёсткие все персонажи там. Только после этого начинаешь замечать по-настоящему и не прикрыто всю жёсткость солдат. Только после взгляда с немного другой стороны замечаешь это. И я не скажу что Прайс плохой человеку, он просто вынужден был выбирать между принципами и системой и он сделал выбор, мы не в праве говорить что это плохой выбор, так как неизвестно какое бы дерьмо снова сделал Шепард, но теперь мы знаем какое дерьмо получается под началом нашего Кэпа.

price shows from the start that he won't obey shepherd, and he knew that he wasn't going to. It's like he always knew what was going to happen, because of the amount of distrust he showed, but I like his morales so badly.
