Tams Diamonds is the new undone by Kate. Tam got a huge following saying she does everything custom herself with her own bench jeweler. People bought rings from her they said they were personalizing and Tam said were custom made by her OWN bench jeweler in the United States. They all actually come from a company called Joyera Box in India. Someone from Joyera started posting it everywhere, probably because they were seeing all her videos lying. THEN when Joyera Box did drop shipping system integrations on their backend servers, AI grabbed all of the integrations and confirmed her site was using the drop shipping service from India the whole time. Her rings are all from Joyera Box and all these poor girls were right there whole time and have been getting scammed. Tam threatened multiple girls, blocked them, and threatened Joyera Box too to try and make them delete all of her rings they were posting. They were posting them before Tam would even show them. But it was too late the girls got screenshots and screen recordings…HUNDREDS of them. I have a major influencer putting together a video on this. I submitted it with the better business bureau but it won’t let it go through yet because I don’t have her business legal address, I’m still trying to find it. It’s illegal because she lied about her entire process and the whole product she sells.

As a custom bridal jewelry designer, a new thing I’ve heard is also lying about in-house designers. Everyone is outsourcing designers & telling clients “oh it’s all in house!” Then take 2 weeks to reply with new renders or charging insane prices for 4+ renders when they are literally outsourcing CAD.

My fiancé got scammed by a family friend. He paid so much money for a custom ring, my 3 ct diamond popped out on Sunday. We brought it to a bench jeweler and he said “this was not custom made” $1,300 later I now have an actual custom crown on my “custom” ring. To be clear I love my ring, I’m just so sad that happened to him with someone he trusted.

I think people (me too) need to be better informed how hard it is to custom make jewelry vs just putting in jewels. I don’t know how to do either so I don’t know how much of a scam it is to say it’s custom made when just putting in jewels into a premade ring

They say “custom” or “one of a kind” when they really mean CUSTOMIZED. They choose between a selection of pieces, mix and match, they do not get “designed” pieces. It’s so frustrating

These are stones being forced into settings that are designed something half the carat weight. Big lab diamonds may be more affordable now but gold is expensive and that’s where the corners are being cut.
