I taught English in Japan and exclusively taught the immersion method. Zero Japanese was spoken in my classes. Much better learning method for new languages!

immersion has been considered the best way to learn since forever but it's a lot easier to spend ten minutes with Duolingo than seek out and spend days, weeks, months exclusively surrounded by the language you're trying to learn.
that's pretty common sense

literallyyy! and a lot of people don’t talk about this but changing your KEYBOARD to whatever language you’re learning helps too! your fingers know the keyboard letters like muscle memory so why not use that muscle memory to learn your letters and everyday words that you type easily in a that language too???

Doesn't every language teacher basically teach this though? My french teacher was a polyglot and that's basically what he said. He even suggested changing the language on your phone which would force you to learn
