First death of the series, only reason they were able to make it as far as they did, haunts the narrative for the rest of the story, and later they come across a zombie, clothes and hair scorched and ruined, but the eyes are still the same. I once dreamed that I was in a zombie apocalypse and something similar happened with the sacrifice. There were zombies everywhere and we had to take cover, and when I spotted a safe house I just made everyone go inside.And then I simply locked them up so they could survive and I left as bait to scare off that whole horde. My dream ended when I started to feel myself being bitten and I woke up. It wasn't a nice feeling.
