My son was attacked by a dog a few years ago badly. A lot of people don’t know it’s multiple shots at different times you have to get. You have to go back like 3-4 times can’t remember each week if I remember correctly and get shots. It’s rounds of them! It’s awful!

I hate all needles. I had to get one for an ingrown toenail once and they put it ALL THE WAY IN the toe!!! I’d rather give birth again damn

There’s a lady on here that had such a bad reaction to the shot that she spent 90 days in the hospital. I would not get them unless the animal was confirmed to have rabies. 99% of the time this is not the case. The health dept no longer even tests animals brains.

I’ve given birth naturally 4 times, unmedicated. I had to get the rabies shots in my hand of deep bite wounds… hands down would give birth unmedicated 50 more times to never have to do that again lol

FYI the first injection is called rabies immunoglobulin and it’s injected into the wound/close to the wound. Then you get 4 rounds of the rabies vaccine. They usually administer them in alternating muscles. I went through this procedure after being bitten by a rabid cat.
