Everyone keep looking at the dollars per hour? Doesn’t matter what u make $ wise, until the economy stabilizes and we not getting robbed by taxes, food, gas, clothing and rent or mortgage, we will continue to suffer. This is what middle class and poverty looks and sounds like. I make $34 an hour and it’s rough.,,,

When it comes to medical assistant I think it’s about what area you’re in , state and what kind of medical assistant. My career as a medical assistant pays well over 15$ an hour . And not having kids is always a plus…. Without kids , means no daycare means extra money for you.

I have a business degree, in nursing school, learning day trading, & trying to get into bartending. It literally shouldn’t take all this…I’m irritated everyday.

Learn a trade: plumber, air conditioning, electrician. Even if it’s hair or nails. Or sell food from your house online. A lot of people sell food on Facebook marketplace. They order then pick it up from you. Create a bunch of side hustles that you enjoy doing: sell food, babysit, take the elderly to medical appointments, etc

I have 2 suggestions. Work for the county. Ex… go on la county jobs. They always have jobs. So whatever county you live in. The other suggestion start in-home daycare business. The lady that I took my kids to charge $35 for nine hours and five dollars every hour after that. She worked 24 hours so kids came to her house and slept. I asked her how much does she make a month and she said she makes $20,000 a month. Good luck to you
