Yall saying “lock in” but getting a license is an extremely privileged thing. sure the test may be easy and driving may be easy but stuff like insurance, drivers ed and getting a car is thousands of dollars combined. Yes having a job would and could help pay for it but that would genuinely take so long on having to save money. plus this girl is literally 18 not 30 she still has time to figure herself out and what she wants to do in life the only thing she should be “locking in” with rn is def looking for a job but you don’t have to make her seem like she’s a bad person just bc she doesn’t have one. On top of that jobs are so hard to get recently bc all the “teen/young adult” jobs have been taken by adults needing to have a second job bc it costs sm to live.

girl fuck what evb thinks, u don’t need validation from anyone to feel better. You’re human and you’re still young. NEVER let anyone tell you otherwise because we still have sooooo much life ahead and so much to learn. All imma say is yes right now you may not have it, the point is to do it at some point.
