so if a majority of your work is a designer wasn't visual, and you can't make it visual now because it wouldn't make sense, what can you do? ever since I was laid off 3 years ago, I've been told my portfolios to text heavy so I replaced it with vibe Coded projects, however, those don't represent the actual work that I was doing on the job for the years before then. how does a seasoned designer whose work is not visual create a portfolio that is good enough to land interviews and restart their career when a lot of the work that they did in the past was not visual?

Also what do you think about those heavy and overwhelming sites with personalisation, the excessive amount of motion colour etc etc literally ends up overstimulating the person looking at the content

as a product designer with 5 years at the same company, i’m not allowed to put any visuals or share metrics or proprietary info or anything like that so i’ve put projects where i just talk about my journey and process- do you think a hiring manager would see no visuals and not like my portfolio?
