@mementomikkie: In 1966 Natalie Wood shocked Harvard by arriving in person to accept her, "Worst Actress Award". The Harvard Lampoon had given out the satirical award every year since 1939. Natalie was the very first actor to accept the award in person, much to the delight of Harvard who jokingly had Natalie kidnapped by a rival paper who then bestowed her with "good" Awards. After Natalie's good spirited attendance the award was then dubbed, "The Natalie Wood Award". Other recipients of the award included Barbra Streisand, Raquel Welch, Ali McGraw and Candice Bergen (just to name a few)! The similar, "Kirk Douglas Award", was also given out for male performances, winners of that award included Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford and Jack Lemmon! The Harvard Lampoon discontinued their "worst actor" awards in the 1970s.
