@imvictorialawson: Meeting our baby boy is a moment we'll remember forever. 🤍 While we were in the NICU, Zac started reading about the way music can bring comfort and healing, so while we were out of state, he bought a guitar just to sing over Zion John. We captured a little bit of that first day for him to watch one day. As Zac started singing, I couldn't stop crying. Not because everything was perfect, it wasn't. Adoption is beautiful, but it's also full of grief. There was so much joy in that room, and so much heartbreak too. Yet in the middle of it all, we saw the goodness of God. Not because every circumstance was good, but because He was present. He gave us peace, reminded us of His faithfulness, and pointed us to the hope that one day He will make all things new. Loving Zion has also given us a small glimpse of the Father's love for us, that He adopted us as His own. It's a love that's far greater than we could ever comprehend. God has been so kind to us, and we'll never stop thanking Him. We're also forever grateful for Zion's birth family, their humility, courage, and sacrificial love will never be forgotten. #Adoption #Christian
