@lilsforliberation: Can you imagine how this would feel?? Words can’t fully describe how surreal and beautiful this moment is. Someone posted a 1974 BBC documentary about Margate, and there is my grandad, alive and smiling, playing the piano in a pub. He passed away before I was born, and now, at 40 years old, I am seeing him move for the very first time. Watching him, it struck me just how much my own dad grew to look very much like him as he got older. It’s amazing how a simple video can make you feel so connected to someone you never got to know. I am so incredibly grateful to whoever archived and shared this footage. I feel like I finally got to meet him, and even his old photographs look completely different to me now. He isn’t just a memory in a frame anymore—he is real! 🫶🏻❤️🫶🏻 #margate #london #Love #fyp #foryoupage❤️❤️
