I had a heart attack not long ago at 28 and my duo flew from the uk to make sure I was alright. Truly my brother. He almost lost me and helped me get my life back on track I can’t be more thankful

My husband’s best friend passed in his sleep. They used to game every night together playing rocket league. Hubby will log on every year on the anniversary of his death and play one game of rocket league. He won’t touch that game any other time during the year.

I played with a girl that was 14. it started as a joke for her to call me mom and I just adoppted her. one day her brother came on and said she lost her battle with cancer the previous week. I miss her but still talk to her brother.

My dad gamed with his best friend every weekend for 13 years. He just passed away 3 months ago from stage 4 glioblastoma after fighting it for 8 years. My dad said “I had to delete Arc Raiders because his tag would pop up on my friends list everytime I logged on and I’d sit there and cry”. His wife and daughter will be moving in with my parents come September because she has never had to do life without him and she doesn’t know how.

I told my husband that I didn’t want him to buy a motorcycle. I work in Insurance, saw way too many fatalities. His best friend of 10+ years online suddenly disappeared. His COD family let him know he died on his bike. He finally got it.

The amount of people I was friends with who just randomly disappeared and stopped coming online is crazy. One of them went into surgery and he warned us that there’s a chance he might not come back and I told him that was never gonna happen because he was always gonna come back, but he never came back and I never found out what happened god I miss them
