You know what grind my gears! They will circle around a simple issue because they’re all speaking corporate jargon not solving the issue let alone understanding what the other is trying to say instead of speaking plain English and getting to the root of problem. It’s infuriating. And then it’s let’s circle back like wtf!

because promoting from within, got replaced with degrees and qualifications... none of those higher ups have ever done the actual job, yet they dictate how the job should be done... alot like health insurance companies telling you if a procedure is necessary or not....

My husband had a Teams call and the CEO was doing a speech but got interrupted by the airplane announcement and the whole company had to listen to the Air Canada safety instructions..... oh and it was recorded and not live btw, she just didn't plan ahead and ends it saying "Oh the air plane employees are telling me to turn it off, ok gotta go!" instead of recording it again 🥴

As someone who was in corporate thinking “dang these people are goofy” and now run my own company…please don’t ever think the higher ups know better than you. They either played the game better, knew someone, came from money or something else. Also something happens to your brain when you have people to do work for you…the laziness sets in. Sorry.

It’s good to realize none of the people above you making lots of money are any different in fact they’re often just the loudest person. There’s a reason so many companies have people with sales backgrounds at the helm.

I used to be part of leadership meetings until I was critiqued that I wasn’t “contributing” which was hilarious to hear cause I’m like what you want to add one more loud opinion to the mix of people talking in circles and saying things just to say things??
