Do people forget there is NO SEX in the books? Anne Rice’s vampires had no biological functions other than drinking blood… they are “dead”. Dead things do not have blood circulation - which all males need to perform sex

I’m reading the books now and I honestly like the books more in some ways. It’s not for everyone, but the show is much more sanitized. It’s the opposite of what the author was going for and fails to explore the complexity of the relationships and personal developments as much as the books do

not quite right - Claudia/Louis this was not really the case. and you have to remember she was a vampire for over 69 years - the context was not "romantic" so much as being a woman trapped that way forever. and Louis and Lestat and def more complicated in the books!

One thing. Book, Movie & Tv Show Louis are all Louisiana Creole. they’re the same ethnicity, Creole is just a multiracial ethnicity.
