stick with the fire origin but have her be adopted by Hippolyta so she's still Diana's sister in a more literal way. I really don't get why she wasn't in the tt show. they didn't have to explore her full backstory.

Her and Powergirl have the worst “backstories”. Wasn’t Donna in Young Justice, I feel like she was adapted for animation for that show. I’ll need to rewatch that again.

Bob Haney infamously did not gaf regarding continuity. Like, he'd create a secret lost brother of Bruce Wayne, use him for two stories and discard him. He would have Earth-2 heroes show up in Brave & the Bold with Earth-1 Batman. Did they cross universes? Are these Earth-1 versions of characters like Wildcat? Eventually DC would tongue-in-cheek say these stories took place on Earth-B (for Bob).
