im so happy you're gonna be ok. im stage 4 on Palliative care now. which means im taken off of treatment and on meds to be comfortable. I know the radio active shot all to well for a petscan. I just canceled my petscan because my insurance isn't going to cover it. sending love

I’m an oncology nurse and worked on a womens surgical floor for 7 years! Biggest advice is immediately get up and walk post op. People complain of cramping and gas pains believe it or not so moving early will be the best thing for you! I wish you all the best!🫶🏼🤍

I had a total hysterectomy due to ovarian cancer I was stage one but mine was super fast spreading and extremely rare. Surgery was tough but after a few weeks you get back to normal. I did chemotherapy too for 18 weeks. I am now 10 years cancer free ❤️I hope you have a speedy recovery

I had thyroid cancer. They treat it with a radioactive done pill that’s in a lead case. They wear a hazmat suit to give it to you. You are literally radioactive for days. Cancer is wild. You got this.

Stage 3B endometrial ovarian cancer here. Complete full hysterectomy along with the removal of a tumor that was the size of a grapefruit attached to my right ovary, my appendix, partial lining of my stomach, removal of the protective layer over my liver, 3inches of my colon that the tumor had wrapped itself around and multiple nodules throughout my abdomen area. Basically my type of cancer LOVES estrogen and my hormone replacement that I was on was feeding my cancer. I will NEVER be able to take any type of hormone replacement again! Just finished my last round of chemo last month and had my follow up to go over my scans..I’m now in full remission!!! ♥️🙌🏻

Had my hysterectomy in February for stage 4 endo and am soooo happy I did! Haven't had a single flare since! STAY ON TOP OF YOUR PAIN MEDS. I learned the hard way- had had several surgeries and usually got off the pain meds very quickly like the next day so I thought this was the same. Nah girl, just pop them suckers until you truly feel like you don't need them. You got this!!!❤️🩹

Hi Snooks! Just had a hysterectomy literally 7 weeks ago for adenomyosis. Sorry for the wall of text but I rec: get a belly band (amazon), take your meds like clockwork even if you aren’t in pain, take the time to rest and recover!!!, get a wedge back pillow for sitting up, hold your tummy with a pillow when you cough/sneeze, walk/move little by little, the bloat is real, give yourself treats bc you just got a freakin organ removed!!!
