Give it promptly—don’t delay it. * A – Airway: Watch for swelling, hoarseness, stridor, or signs of a compromised airway. Be prepared to escalate airway management if needed. * T – Trendelenburg (if hypotensive): If the patient is hypotensive, keep them lying flat with their legs elevated (if tolerated) to help support blood pressure. * M – Monitor vitals: Continuously monitor blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and reassess frequently. * Y – Your IV access: Establish IV access early so medications and fluids can be administered quickly. * A – Antihistamines: Adjunctive treatment to help relieve hives and itching.
