I love this pretty girl so much. She has been on my mind since the day she arrived. The second I saw that one little floppy ear, I was done. She’s one of those dogs I keep stopping to look at every time I walk by her kennel. She just quietly watches me with those beautiful eyes, and she completely made her mark on my heart. Berry has been pretty scared since coming to the shelter. She’s so quiet that you hardly even notice she’s there. When I took her outside, she spent most of the time shaking. Her legs were trembling, her whole body was trembling. Everything around her was unfamiliar, and you could tell she was trying so hard to figure it all out. Even though she was scared, she let me sit with her, pet her, and rub her. She’s so gentle, so beautiful, and just has the sweetest soul. She’s kenneled with another dog and they’ve been so respectful and sweet with each other. I love her so much. I really, really hope someone sees what I see before it’s too late.
