I definitely didn’t expect this to be my story. A year ago, I wasn’t trying to become a stay-at-home mum. I genuinely believed I couldn’t have children. The reason I wanted to work from home was much simpler than that. I’d just lost my dog, and I knew that when I eventually got another one, I didn’t want to leave them at home all day while I sat in an office. I was also in a new relationship, and I hated spending more time with people from work than I did with the person I actually wanted to be with. Add in the commute, office politics and the fact my neurodivergent brain never really felt like it belonged in that environment anyway… and I knew something had to change. So, on a whim, I gave UGC a go. Fast forward a year… I’m now six weeks away from meeting my baby, and it’s funny how the decision I made for completely different reasons has turned out to be the best thing I could have done. Sometimes you think you’re building one life… …and life quietly has other plans. — If you’re new here, I’m Christina. I’m an expectant first-time mum, content creator and marketing nerd who’s passionate about helping women build an income that fits around the life they actually want to live. If you’ve ever thought, “There has to be another way,” I hope this little corner of the internet reminds you that there is. #Working#WorkingMumUKo#WorkFromHomeMumi#MaternityLeavel#FlexibleIncome work from home, flexible income, maternity leave, first time mum, work from home jobs, earning money online, mum life, women in business, content creator, UGC creator, remote work, financial independence, motherhood journey, side income for mums, building a business from home
