I once had a kid come to me for work. When I found out he wanted to work to feed his two younger brothers a meal a day I told him to bring them every afternoon so I could feed all three of them dinner. We still allowed him to work to buy extra things for him & his brothers. Come to find out the mom was an addict & she was taking the kids money from him. She got food stamps to feed her kids but sold them!! I continued feeding them daily so I knew they had 1 meal a day at least until they moved!! Bless this man!!

One day after work, I went through the car wash on my way home. About 10 minutes after I got home, a couple kids knocked on my door and asked if they could wash my truck for a few bucks to buy their sister a birthday present for her birthday. I literally just had my truck washed, so obviously I told them yes they can wash my truck. 30 minutes later, they came and told me they were done. I won’t say how much I gave them, but for these 8-9 year old kids to be willing to do more work for a couple bucks than most adults… I gave them plenty
