as a recovering alcoholic I'd like to weigh in. Alcohol is referred to as spirits for a reason. Alcohol allows the demons an easy way into someone's soul.

In John chapter 2... when the wine ran out at the Cana wedding it would have been the perfect opportunity for Jesus to say, Wine shouldn't have been here anyway but instead he made the best wine anyone had ever tasted. It stunned them. He left it up to them if they were going to drink too much. He saved the best for last!

Is wine the only alcohol God condones in moderation? Not vodka, whisky, rum..? Are things like meth & heroine okay in moderation? Seems silly to say everything is okay as long as it’s in “moderation”. Be of sober mind. We are set apart for a reason, to not look or act like the world.
