@wealthwithshelly: Sometimes the reason you can’t figure out what you want to do isn’t because God hasn’t shown you. It’s because life has been so busy that you haven’t given yourself the space to listen. If you’re a woman over 50, I want you to do something this week. Take 30 minutes. Leave your phone alone. Find a quiet place. Bring your Bible and a notebook. Then ask yourself these questions. • What do I enjoy doing? • What comes naturally to me? • What do people always ask me to help them with? • What has God been stirring in my heart that I keep pushing aside? • If money wasn’t the only factor, what would I love to learn or build? Write down your answers. You’ll probably start noticing the same themes over and over. I don’t believe God gives us gifts, passions, and life experiences by accident. He can use every one of them for His purpose. Then choose one direction. Not five. Just one. Commit to learning, growing, and taking action for the next 90 days. Pray about it. Trust God with the outcome. After those 90 days, ask yourself: Am I enjoying this? Am I learning? Can I see myself continuing? If the answer is yes, keep going. If the answer is no, that’s okay too. You’re not failing. You’re simply finding the path God has for you. I’ve learned that clarity rarely comes before the first step. It comes while you’re walking in faith.
