As I walk into my senior year at 17, I can’t help but think about how much I’ve grown and everything I’ve been through to get here. High school hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has helped shape me into the person I am today. I’ve had the privilege of being a photographer for the yearbook, capturing memories that my classmates will look back on for years. I was also a sports trainer, learning responsibility, teamwork, and how to support others when they needed it most. Volunteering taught me the importance of giving back to my community, while being in drumline showed me discipline, dedication, and the value of working together toward something bigger than myself. This year, I’m also stepping into singing, which pushes me outside my comfort zone and reminds me that growth comes from taking chances. As I begin my senior year, I know time is moving faster than ever. There are memories still waiting to be made, friendships to cherish, and dreams to chase before this chapter closes. I want to appreciate every moment, because I know one day these hallways, late-night practices, football games, performances, and simple conversations will become memories I’ll carry forever. No matter what the future holds, I’ll always be grateful for the experiences that helped me discover who I am and prepared me for the life that’s waiting beyond graduation. Congrats to the people who made it this far
