You don't have to stop for anyone who wants to speak to you in the street. If the officer wanted her to stop, he should have initiated a traffic stop. This was not a traffic stop. He can't prove she could hear him.... Nor can anyone prove there's any law that requires someone to stop for someone just walking out into the street. Cop or not. He's just on an ego trip and this won't stick.

As a law student. This won’t stick in court. Only thing she will get is a speeding ticket. She wasn’t fleeing and eluding. The officer can wave his arms and yell but the driver cannot be held liable for any communication outside the vehicle. He didn’t initiate a traffic stop on her. He tried but couldn’t. The fleeing and eluding would’ve been dropped and a ticket would’ve been all she got if she didn’t admit anything. I’ll take a look at the outcome of this case after this comment

lol, nothing to document the speed, I can't hear people when I'm in my car, eluding won't hold when there's no argument of flashing lights. It's going to take money & good attorney but, it's beatable!
