My baby was saved for 3 weeks from parvo at our usual vet before we rescued her- and it was fate. When we rescued her and took her in for a check up she was so scared being back she wouldn't even walk in the door. It broke my heart 😭 I'm glad we taught her that going back there means leaving too

My dog was just fine. He was acting this way for less than two minutes. He was a very happy boy when we got out of the car and met with dog sister. A couple minutes of discomfort is fine for a dog- now he has a lifetime of happy memories with his sister. ❤️

Mine looked like this when we brought him back with donations for his 1 year gotcha day. He was scared but then realized “i know these people.” For a second he wanted to stay and then he remembered. Hurt all of my feelings 😂😫

we had to take my dog back to the shelter for some final bloodwork when we finished his heartworm treatment, poor guy sat down on the pavement and made the tech come draw his blood in the parking lot (hes a cane corso/mastiff, so there's no making him go where he doesn't want to lol)

I took my boy with me to drop off some donations at the shelter he was adopted at. He was shaking in the parking lot until he realized we were just dropping stuff off and going back to the car.

We have a dog that’s almost 9 now that we got from the shelter, he was picked up as a stray, didn’t say where. He had a broken tail that healed at a right angle, and he was 10 weeks when we got him. To this day, if we drive past a specific town on the way to the bigger town where the stores are, he shakes uncontrollably until we pass and then he’s fine

I took my dog on a run to dunkin one day. To get to there I have to drive past the shelter he was in. My baby gave me the same look when we approached but then totally relaxed after we past it!
