Stagnant wages with 3% cost of living wages if your lucky and home prices have doubled in last several years. People are stupid to buy in this market. My WHOLE monthly income as a RN here would go to paying a mortgage on a non updated starter home. I make good money.. But can only afford to rent a small apartment.

The Utah wages don’t come close to covering what those homes cost, especially for those under 35. Apartments are popping up everywhere because those are the only affordable options and they are using that leverage to get crazy rental rates.
