My daughter is 3.5 and she has insomnia (3 hours of sleep a night) and It’s the worst shes so emotional 24/7 and she never shuts down and she’s in the slamming door phase and all of it is exhausting and I don’t know what I’m doing.

So….what do we do when their body is in 3 year old territory, but their mind is in 4 year old territory? Our daughter is beyond advanced and has mastered alot of things early. My husband and I are stuck because we know she’s bored/not feeling challenged.

My daughter is about to be 4 and I swear I want to cry everyday. It is so difficult to hold a boundary and not cave in because the screaming just makes my brain stop working and then idk what to do with her anymore. I literally listened to her scream at me from the other side of the door while I was trying to calm myself down because she was mad at me for making her lay down for rest time 😭

This is a really fun age, but also extremely frustrating and exhausting! My son decided one day he was going to be terrified of thunder. He used to like storms and would laugh because I told him the sky was farting. I guess he realized it's not really farting but I try explaining what thunder is and that we're safe. Doesn't help. So that's fun.

My 3.5 year old is obsessed with me!! I cannot leave a room without her following. She came home with dad yesterday, walked in the house, and immediately started yelling “mom” & became increasingly concerned when I didn’t immediately respond.

My once independent 3 year old recently just started being incredibly clingy. Always wanting to be next to me at outings when she previously would’ve been fine playing with others on her own. It’s tiring. She started this once we told her prek was starting soon.
