you can have hsv1 on the genitals and hsv2 on the mouth. actually you can get either anywhere in the body where there was an open wound during infection. just so you know

and the crazy thing is... they are pretty much nothing. There just like pimples, except you dont wanna pop them. Very, very rare cases where they can do something more like infect the eye or brain

If you have HSV-1 it’s important that you talk to your doctor about treatments. The virus can spread from your mouth to eyes and nose and cause even worse problems than embarrassment. There are medications that can heal it in a day or two, and prevent spreading or full on outbreaks.
