lol it's always do PT. PT made everything worse. 3 years later detached labrum and CAM impingement. 5 weeks post op and I'm like a new person!

I wouldn’t just like to say that I was doing physical therapy for four months for a labrum tear and it most definitely got worse and I had surgery and I feel so much better two weeks post operation then I did during those four months, Personally I would not listen to this woman and I would get surgery depending on how bad your tear is.

I have a torn labrum and FAI & I was able to treat the pain conservatively with PT! It took almost a year of very hard work and consistency, but it paid off and now I’m training for the NYC marathon 😊

Okay I understand the goal. Here is my question for you, when I hinge at the hips, my left hip “freezes” and shoots pain across to the right hip. How do I avoid this? I do my absolute best to avoid hinging because I have been “stuck” hinged for a few seconds and in deep pain.
