First, you make your account private. Second, you block the offending parents. Third, you keep notifications on your phone active only during working hours, block the rest of the time - there are apps that can allow you to do that. Fourth, you don’t ask permission from the principal, you just let them know something isn’t working or that you’ve found a solution. Parents are people. They can say whatever they want and it doesn’t mean anyone is obligated to do it.
