@piggygert: I've had just about every animal you can think of growing up, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, mice, parakeets, lizards, a chameleon, fish, frogs, dogs, cats, and even baby raccoons. ❤️ Out of all of them, pigs have been the most affectionate!! These two are absolutely obsessed with my husband and me. They follow us everywhere, stare at us like we're the most interesting thing in the world, love our scent, get excited/happy when we talk or sing to them, and insist on being curled up next to us whenever they're not busy snacking. The love they show just feels different! Fun fact: Pigs share about 95% of their DNA with humans, which is one reason they're often used in medical research. They're also incredibly social animals and can form strong, lasting bonds with their people. Unlike dogs, which tend to see us as a different species and their caretakers, pigs often treat the humans they love more like members of their own social group.
