Let’s not forget that in the original Odyssey book, Odysseus meets Achilles spirit in the realm of the dead, and Achilles says, “I would rather be a humble, dirt-poor laborer on earth than rule as king over all the dead”. That’s one of the tragedies of Achilles, he wanted to wanted to die young and be remembered and when he got what he wanted he regretted it. Now he is a shade in the underworld.
