What is it with keeping ashes in the trunk! My mom did the same thing with my dad until I found and pitched a hissy fit. Now he’s in the back of her closet with all the TJMaxx bags..sorry dad 🤦🏼♀️

as much as I enjoy his stories I'm from Alabama and I don't know of any interstate that runs through Chilton county I may be wrong but Chilton is like where you buy your peaches between Tuscaloosa and Montgomery so anyway hon highways or not interstate

I had one of those. She checked her last husband out of the nursing home so they could get married. She also had a dog buried in the local baby cemetary. She tipped an employee to make that happen. She died when I was 14 and my biggest regret in life is that I didn't get a chance to really know her. In my genealogy research, I found yet another husband. 🤣

I was at a party and this older woman was telling me all the adventures she and her mother had had all week. My friend pulled me aside and said her mom is dead. She buckles her ashes in the front seat and talks to her and drives her all over town. To be fair when my grandmother dies a carried some of her ashes in my purse for about a year. I do not know why. I can't explain it . Just weird grieving I guess.

My cousin took my aunts ashes with her every trip she took and always left a light on in the room where ashes were if she was out after dark. True! Jasper/graysville/Bessemer/Trussville I got em all over.
