Flasher is still here. Instead of being where adopters can easily see him, Flasher has been tucked away in the shelter tent, out of public view. Out of sight often means out of mind, and for dogs on borrowed time, that can be devastating. But Flasher refuses to let the shelter steal his joy. The moment someone walks by, his whole body lights up. He wiggles, bounces, and practically vibrates with excitement, desperate to say hello. He can't contain himself. He wants attention. He wants affection. He wants to be part of someone's life. This little French Bulldog is only about 2 years old. Despite dealing with a chronic ear infection and a shelter cold, he remains bright, engaged, and incredibly people-oriented. Staff notes describe him as attention-seeking in his kennel, and that's exactly what he is, a dog begging not to be overlooked. Today, June 23 at 2 PM, Flasher is scheduled to lose his life.
