My mouth was burning during a filling and I have social anxiety so I just let it happen but then I really couldn’t take it and I sat up immediately and began spitting all the water out of my mouth and turns out they had previously replaced and cleaned the lines and someone forgot to flush the line and they basically were filling my mouth with bleach :) all I got was a sorry, here’s a bottle of water, let’s go into the next room :)

I had a drill dropped in my face during a root canal. Not even an apology. This was after he snapped at me about the numbing wearing off consistently after I warned him I was hard to numb & hard to keep numb. I think he did it on purpose.

my dentist hounded me for years about getting a crown put on a tooth i had a root canal on when I was a teenager. Once I finally decided to spend the $800 on it, they put it on the wrong tooth. Guess what tooth needed a root canal less than a week later? So the expensive protective crown they bullied me into getting, had been drilled through and is basically useless now :)

I’m a board certified dental assistant with a private office, this story is making me question the legitimacy of this dentist. Was this a general dentist or an orthodontist? They seem very inexperienced if this story is real, we have only placed a few lingual retaining wires since I’ve worked here and it’s not even added time in the dentist’s schedule, they can do it in 5-10mins and they are not orthodontists that do it everyday. Don’t ever walk into that office again.

I BEGGED for a permanent retainer to be put in. My ortho refused. I broke my retainer and couldn’t afford a new one. My teeth moved again. I was so pissed

I’ve never had a permanent retainer but I did have braces for 2 years. Never once was my throat packed with gauze but also never once did they drop something down my throat 🧍🏼♀️
