قال ابن القيم رحمه الله في الداء والدواء «"إذا تعلَّق القلب بالله، صغرت الدنيا في عينيه، وعظمت الآخرة في قلبه."» ليس الزهد أن تترك الدنيا وهي بين يديك، بل أن تخرج من قلبك وإن كانت في يدك. فكلما ازداد يقين العبد بما أعدَّه الله لأوليائه، خفَّ تعلُّقه بزينة الحياة، وأصبح يرى أن كل متاع الدنيا مهما طال فهو إلى زوال، بينما نعيم الآخرة باقٍ لا ينقطع. لذلك كان الصالحون يصبرون على الطاعة، ويجاهدون أنفسهم، ويتركون ما تشتهيه نفوسهم إذا كان يُبعدهم عن الله، لأنهم كانوا ينظرون إلى ما بعد هذه الحياة، لا إلى لحظتها العابرة. كم من إنسان أتعب نفسه في جمع ما سيفارقه، وكم من مؤمن تعب قليلًا في الدنيا فوجد راحةً لا تنتهي. فالذكي ليس من جمع أكثر، وإنما من قدَّم لنفسه ما يجده عند الله يوم لا ينفع مالٌ ولا جاه، وإنما ينفع قلبٌ امتلأ بالإيمان والعمل الصالح. فإذا تذكرت ما وعد الله به عباده في الجنة من نعيمٍ لا يخطر على قلب بشر، هانت عليك مشقة العبادة، وخفَّ ألم الابتلاء، وصغر كل ما فاتك من الدنيا. ومن عرف حقيقة الآخرة، أدرك أن أعظم خسارة ليست خسارة المال، بل خسارة القرب من الله، وأعظم ربح ليس امتلاك الدنيا، بل أن يرضى الله عنك ويجعلك من أهل جنته. --- 🌿 Ibn al-Qayyim said in Al-Da' wa al-Dawa': «"When the heart becomes attached to Allah, this world appears small, and the Hereafter becomes its greatest goal."» True detachment from this world does not mean owning nothing—it means that worldly things no longer own your heart. The more certain a believer becomes about Allah's promise, the less attached they are to temporary pleasures. They willingly sacrifice fleeting desires because they know an eternal reward awaits them. Many people spend their lives chasing what they will eventually leave behind, while the believer invests in what will remain forever. Real success is not measured by wealth or status, but by earning Allah's pleasure and preparing for the life that never ends. Whenever you remember the everlasting blessings of Paradise, acts of worship become lighter, hardships become easier to bear, and the losses of this world seem insignificant. The greatest loss is not losing wealth—it is losing closeness to Allah.
