Just throwing this out, a lot of people say he never existed, well people thought Troy was a myth until the city was found in the 1870s so maybe someday proof will be found of Agamemnons existence.

as a classical archaeologist, it most likely is not his actual tomb! early archaeologists went searching for troy and other ancient places to confirm their theories about the myth and forced the evidence to fit, instead of looking at the evidence and drawing a conclusion. also the city of “troy” found is not the actual city i promise. heinrich schliemann was not a good archaeologist

for everyone in the comments as someone who actually studied roman and greek mythology. Troy is real and the Trojan war likely did happen but we do not know what version of troy it happened in and it was likely due to land disputes rather than godly intervention
