some things I used to make as a kid in the 70s, probably from a book..A sliced pencil eraser for lunch meat slices, the metal from a pencil for canned goods and the metal serrated edge from an aluminum foil package as a knife blade..a push pin and a pony brad as a bottle. A toothpaste cap as a lamp shade
