My conch gave me the same trouble. Don't give it on it yet now that you have a longer bar. I would get a piercing pillow or use a travel neck pillow if you have one

Trust me believe me when I say take ibuprofen. You will see a difference and just don’t sleep on it and everything after that goes well.

Don’t give up! I have 18 piercings and when I tell you ibuprofen and dial gold hand soap are your new best friends! Saline wash doesn’t have any antibacterial properties so it’s not actually cleaning your open wound. Dial gold is the BEST!

Honestly, I’m grateful I got it pierced with a regular piercing, with the little ball and nothing special, it hasn’t hurt at all and it’s been like three weeks, but also this has helped a lot

They're supposed to put a longer bar when first pierced. Mine took 3 months to heal.

you might need to go on antibiotics because it might be infected at this point but truly just keep washing it w saline solution 2x a day and try to wash it off in the shower

Laying on it when it’s barely a week old is crazy work tbh 💀 you have to wait months until you can do that.

Conch piercing survivor 🙋🏻♀️I would sleep with a piercing pillow OR a travel neck pillow because your ear needs to breathe. My piercing was so swollen for several months, and I used the saline solution religiously. I changed the piercing to a hoop around 8 months and my ear was NOT happy with me, so I don’t recommend. Its now a full year since it was pierced and my ear is fine now and I can wear the hoop with no swelling! Don’t give up 🩷

Mine was for the first ten days. I took Tylenol and Motrin to help with the pain and swelling. Use a travel piercing or donut piercing and Neil med spray. Don’t touch it. It’ll be smooth sailing after that. Downsize the bar between 6-10 weeks
