Visit Las Vegas lol. There's great camping and hiking everywhere here. Camping in the summer is fine if you take water filters (squeeze and tablets, so you have at least 1 redundancy) and stay close to a river or lake. Swimming is nice here too right now, since the water feels damn near tropical in most places. There's a lot more to do here than people give this place credit for lol! Casinos are either for the super rich or bums. If you really want to go camping but don't have anyone, get a topo and road map of the area you're planning to hike in, a compass, 2 water filters, a small/med ACTUAL hiking backpack, 2 smart water bottles (squeeze filters just thread right on), a rain jacket, wool/fleece sweater, and some food for 1-2 days. I personally don't even really eat that much while hiking, maybe I'm just weird 🤷🤔. If you can't find anyone to go with you, find someplace interesting, use Google Earth to plan it out, pack what I typed, and go exploring. I've always gone alone, since other people are kind of a drag especially if they don't wanna go as far or as long as you do. Just go out and do it, the more you do, the more you learn and better you get at it. Just like the gym. Think about it like that and you'll be fine. Just don't push yourself to far if you're someplace remote and you aren't familiar with land navigation. 👍👍
